The influence of the fans and red cards results in another amazing World Cup.

Brazil vs. Chile has always been touted as a huge mismatch. The scene for a rare exception was a nice winter's day in Santiago and a 1962 FIFA World CupTM semifinal.

Garrincha was benched for the Final after receiving a red card. Amazingly, the Chilean people were so enamored with the winger that they and president Jorge Alessandri successfully spearheaded a plea to enable him to participate in the match. Brazil thus successfully defended their World Cup title by defeating Czechoslovakia 3-1.
