How I Met Your Father S1E5 REVIEW

Nearly the first half of the season, Hulu brought episode number five to our screen, in a very dissapointed note. Drew invites Sophie to a game night with his friends and the topic surrounding parents flaws come out once her mom appears all the sudden.

On the other hand, Charlie discovers his calling as Jessies psicology[s. Ellen ends up in a funeral meeting a girl whos into produce and Valentina meets Sophies mom. I am struggling to understand why are they so many technological and pop culture (from the early 2000s) references, Nickelodeon was not as big for 30 year olds to quote it.

As for Sid, his storyline was so cringey even if the script was hilarious. By the end of the episode, everyone end up at the bar where Jesse proposed to Meredith, her ex girlfriend and Lori, Sophies mom cheats on her boyfriend. Too many storylines for just one episode.

I believe there is a glimpse of the old show, but still it is rushed and at times predictable, not so funny either. It is a sitcom after all, it should be entertainament.
