Justin Timberlake may be the new millennium's quintessential pop star, a star who jumped from platform to platform on his way to establishing himself as something more than a star: he was a self-sustaining empire. Timberlake began his career as a child performer on The New Mickey Mouse Club, but he rose to stardom as one of the frontmen for *NSYNC, the most popular boy band of the millennium.
