CULTURAL IMPACT
Rock music in the 1980s completely lost the dark atmosphere of its predecessor until Lenny Kravitz rediscovered the magical formula. Kravitz's Sonic template was a huge hit with good old rock and roll combined with Gram, Soul and Psychedelia. With his album "Let Love Rule", he quickly created a sensation. Later, he did not emphasize much of the flower power aspect of his music and moved on to a heavier rock sound. With this advance, he produced blockbuster songs such as "Are You Gonna Go My Way" and Guess Who's "American Woman" hard rock cover. In the process, his glamorous image, model-like looks, and frequent acting roles have made him a staple in pop music.
