Must Haves. Music Edition.Swedish House Mafia.

With their high-energy style of EDM and progressive house music, Swedish House Mafia has gained to prominence in the 2000s. The trio expanded on their live festival buzz, producing international hits with songs like "One (Your Name)" starring Pharrell Williams and "Miami 2 Ibiza" with Tinie Tempah, both of which helped 2010's Until One reach the Top Five of the U.K. and U.S. dance charts. Until Now, their sophomore collection, debuted in the Top 20 of the Billboard 200 in 2012 and spawned the songs "Save the World" and "Don't You Worry Child" with John Martin. Swedish House Mafia resurfaced in 2022 their official debut album, Paradise Again, after a five-year hiatus to explore solo projects.

The Swedish House Mafia, based in Stockholm, first met in the mid-2000s, traveling together and collaborating on one another's productions. (DJ Eric Prydz was a founding member as well.) On August 12, 2008, Axwell, Angello, and Ingrosso made their debut as Swedish House Mafia when they performed in the Main Room at Cream Amnesia in Ibiza, Spain, as part of Radio 1's Essential Mix Ibiza. With the summer 2010 anthem "One," the band eventually acquired a major-label recording contract with EMI and made their commercial production debut. In the United Kingdom, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Belgium, the song reached the Top Ten.

It was included on their debut compilation album, Until One, launched in 2010, which featured previously released tracks and peaked at number four on Billboard's Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart. Swedish House Mafia went on a well-publicized farewell tour two years later in support of their second compilation album, Until Now, released in 2012. Another collection of previously released songs, the album was a huge hit in Sweden, selling platinum and reaching number 14 on the Billboard 200. In 2014, the project came to a close with the publication of One Last Tour: A Live Soundtrack. Angello went on to have a successful solo career when the trio disbanded, while Axwell and Ingrosso formed their own high-profile duet.
