MODERN FAMILY, AN AMERICAN JEWEL

Modern Family relied on powerful performances and nuanced drama to drive its comedy turns out, this was exactly what audiences were looking for. Despite Modern Familys popularity in its later seasons, the show started to slowly feel as if something was missing, almost like there were pieces of a puzzle that did not quit fit anymore.

One of the things that made Modern Family resonate with audiences was the feeling that we were able to grow up alongside most of the characters. The show took a magnifying glass to the intricacies of raising families in a modern era,

and allowed the unpredictability of youth to serve as a catalyst for change and growth in the parental figures throughout the show.

As the children started blossoming into adulthood, they became more self-reliant and, in turn, relied on their families less and less. The structure began to collapse due to predicatability of the sitcom model. This layer of predictability provides a sense of comfort to viewers and a desire to return to that comfortable place time, and time again.

We know that Gloria it[s going to have a strong reaction to something, Mitchell too but in its own way, Jay and C laire will get mad at something and Phill will do something to score with his kids. Like in the Simpsons, everyone has a role to play.

After the fourth season of Modern Family, the kids all started their journeys into adulthood. In a way, this essentially flipped over the hourglass on Modern Family success model. The show did a great job adapting to these changes. And some of these middle season episodes are of the best of the entire show's run.

However, by the sixth season, as the children became more and more independent, the more interesting parts of their existence began taking place outside of their families and within their rapidly developing personal lives.

By pivoting away from its established storylines and character behaviors, the show effectively lost that staying power. Modern Family change the paradigma and was a groundbreaking show in many forms, It forged a new path into developing a mockumentary, stepping aside from classics like Full House while remaining fresh during it[s run and by taking the proven success model of a family sitcom fitted to the 21 century with assembled families, adoptions, older pregnancies, etc.

5 were the elements that made this sitcom one of the very best.

1. Great character The only thing that sets the Modern Family apart from other shows is the incredibly balanced, relevant, well-developed character that revolves around the series.

There is at least one character that you can find yourself, whether you are still a child, parent, or grandparent. By allowing one of the characters to identify themselves, the Modern Family invites you to join the family and joins the series to make the show even more personal (and fun). It's not just different personalities that build an ensemble of characters. Chemistry between characters is almost incomparable to other shows. Family dynamics benefit from the fact that there are many people who do not always work together. Constant conflicts and resolutions remind us of how families work in real life.

2. Excellent writting

This series is proud of the amazing writers who haven't been disappointed yet. Each episode contains new and original ideas that enable crazy gimmicks. While other shows focus on crazy stories about ridiculous conflicts and impossible scenarios, the Modern Family is based on realistic and everyday situations. Misunderstandings, Bad Neighbors, Wrong Lies, Conflicts-The show highlights the events of our daily lives and gives way to a hilarious comedy that keeps me laughing.

3. Realistic humor Let's talk about comedy. After all, what is a good sitcom if it doesn't have great humor? Behold, the Modern Family has a variety of snappy conversations, nasty misunderstandings, and niche references that you will surely love (and laugh at).

The Modern Family goes beyond the typical usage of laughter trucks and instead focuses on comedy timing and awkward situations. 4. Unique style Most shows use a small set and a standardized number of cameras. The Modern Family likes to take a different approach when it comes to style and presentation.

Mockumentary refers to a particular type of movie or television show that is actually presented as a documentary. The Modern Family is said to have been "spoken from the perspective of an invisible documentary filmmaker," and is often explored through interview formats and stunning camera movements (similar to handheld cameras). This helps to emphasize the realistic and honest aspects of this series.

This is original and unique, but above all, it shows how skilled the writer is in producing these episodes.

5. Life lessons and morals

Some of the best content on TV usually requires learning heartfelt morals and lessons, and the Modern Family is no exception. Writers usually create episode-by-episode scenarios based on themes that exist in everyday family life, such as invasion of privacy, deception, and self-esteem. This not only creates room for great comedy and other stories, but also helps them. Advance the story with strong morals.

At the end of many episodes, the character usually makes a brief quote on the topic covered in the episode. You make a general claim about how it affects them in life and think about how to conquer them.

But not just that, running gags like Phils fixation on Gloria, Claire's drinking problem, Phils unintentional innuendos, Cam's musical moments, pop culture references, guest stars, the best duos, etc.
