THE OFFICE. REVIEW

The Office is one of the best sitcoms ever made, period. This show is so good and so funny that it actually makes it look like working in an office is fun. It's not just the stars who make this show good either, the supporting cast are all just as funny as the main characters. It was universally thought of as the best sitcom on tv while it was on and now thought of as one of the best sitcoms in the history of television. The show wasn't quite as good after Steve Carell left but that's only because the seasons with him are so good. It's still a good show after he leaves, just not all-time good like when he was there.

A timeless sitcom that never gets old.The Office is without a doubt one of the greatest television shows ever created, as well as one of the best comedies I've seen in my life! It's at the top of nearly every "best sitcom ever" list for a reason...fantastic! it's Almost every episode is hilarious, which is nearly impossible for any television show to achieve, but The Office comes pretty close. All you have to do is read some of these reviews to see how popular this show is. Each episode manages to maintain the series' excellent momentum and comedic timing.

The Office is a mockumentary-style sitcom loosely based on the same-named British sitcom.

The creative team behind the hit 2005 series "The Office" is intimately familiar with the characters and can flesh out each character's arc in a meaningful way. Each character has distinct personality traits as well as a rich and layered backstory. The majority of the characters are complex, with endearing and often eccentric quirks.

The series' writing is excellent. It was not written for the early 2000s, but rather to be topical and humorous decades later. I appreciate how the writers sneak in jokes even in episodes with serious subject matter.

Mindy Kaling, BJ Novak, Paul Lieberstein, and Michael Schur all worked double shifts and wrote and acted in the series. It's especially surprising and amusing that the actor who plays Toby Flenderson, Paul Lieberstein, wrote Michael Scott's iconic and hilarious insults to the character. Michael's bitter rivalry with Toby is one of the series' high points.

The series' obvious standout is Steve Carell as Michael Scott. His farewell episode was extremely touching and emotional, highlighting Steve Carell's outstanding performance. After Steve Carell left the show in season 7, the quality of the show dropped significantly.
