EMILY IN PARIS STYLE ANALYSIS

Emily[s style clashes with the french, its trendy and super american. she is a energetic an commited woman, her clothes speak for itslef, bright colors abund on her arsenal of clothing, so are her accesories and statement pieces. Its ironic how much Chanel she wears but cant understand Coco Chanel[s iconic quote of less is more. It[s ringarde and extravagant in a really bad way, like a Carrie Bradshaw wannabe. She ressembles to Andy from the devil wears Prada. Her efforts are too much.

Julien and Antoine are the most stylish of all. Julien wears sophisticated pieces with a bold twist. Color blocking its his best friend and never simple which speaks to his cool and charismatic demeanor, he is not affraid of a patterned ensemble nor a subtle accesorie or a feature colour. All of these elements enhance the air of confidence he portrays.

Antoine on the other hand it[s a chic parisian man. Wearing simple but chic and minimalistic suits. He always dresses the part and looks put together unlike Luc whose fashion sense was completly lost.

Sylvie has the best styling in my opinion. Giving the fact that she is on her 50s, she plays a lot with little black dresses, cut outs, opts for clothing that is sophisticated and elegant, often wearing balck but also injecting a feature colour into her look from time to time. All of her looks are sexy and super confident that tells the story of her personality.

Camille's style differs from the other parisians in the show she has a chic style that is more casual than julian or sylvie's style she sticks to neutral colors again choosing the occasional feature color that adds something extra to her outfit her outfits are more youthful cool and effortless which matches with the character's open and friendly nature incredibly well.
