Vera Ellen Wang is the woman behind one of the most famous and well-known fashion brands in the United States. She was born in New York to Chinese parents and completed her studies in Art History before starting her successful career as a designer, interning at the famed Vogue USA. Wang launched herself headlong into redesigning the bridal gown industry after a time on the Ralph Lauren design team. And he did it by opening his own store in New York and dressing some of the most famous brides in recent history, including Victoria Beckham, Alicia Keys, Chelsea Clinton, Hilary Duff, and Ariana Grande, who married Dalton Gomez in a simple design inspired by one of Audrey Hepburn's looks in Funny Face.


She opted to create her first prêt-à-porter collection in 2005, after settling into the bridal niche, a side that has offered her a lot of delight and a lot of red carpet looks. Many Hollywood celebrities have choose to wear Wang's hearts during premieres, award ceremonies, and galas of various kinds. The popularity of this little woman with everlasting jet-black hair does not stop there; in addition to prêt-à-porter and bridal couture, she has added a line of fragrances, beauty products, accessories, and a line for the house throughout the years.
